So i hear there is another white miata again

I dunno if that is krystal that people keep confusing me w/ or someone else. I know i saw a white miata parked at red lobster employee area on my way to work the other day. But everyone keeps asking me if that's me parked up at pete's fina mart.
Anyone know what the deal is w/ that ? Who is the other miata owner?

that's Eljin, he used to drive the white turbo that was in fierce. he works at red lobster.

Is it a 1.6l (90-93) or 1.8l (94-97)?
Let him know if he needs any help w/ it...i'm a pretty big miataphile...and typically willing to help out another miata owner.

If it's driver's side airbag only (unless aftermarket wheel was put in...then no airbag) then it is 1.6l if it has dual airbags and a chassis bar going across behind the seats...it's a 1.8l

ok, then i THINK it's a 1.6, cause i don't recall there being a bar behind my head when i rode in it...but i could be wrong.

Well then he can get a greddy kit for around a grand. Used i've seen them sell for 800 and less. Check ebay and miata.net classifieds. Rarely you will run across it at specmiata.com but it does show up once in awhile.

If anything...he should try and do the cheapie power fixes for it...and if it's a 1990...check for the short nose crank problem.

i think he said something about using the turbo set up off of the other mazda he has.

The 323 hatch had a very similar motor...other then being AWD and had better internals but from what i have heard...the turbo parts will not fit...due to the engine compartments being so different. Of course...all he would need for a swap would be manifold, downpipe, and crossover tube.

hahaha...i found out it's an automatic....hahahahaha.....well...he can always do the tranny swap and keep the extra torque.
