Bulldog Stang
05-14-2006, 03:50 AM
Well to start this thread off, I will post the results of the GRUDGE MATCH between myself and Jitsumania....... I dont have the time slip readily available cause it is still in the car and I am too damn tired to get off my fat ass and go outside and get it.....

(W) Jitsumania Jr. (His Son)
(L) Bulldog Stang

I lost fair and square, and Jr. is one hell of a driver...... The story goes like this....

Bulldog and Jr. line up in the staging lanes, talking amongst ourselves... We start pushing the cars up the lanes.... We finally get the OK for the burnouts... Jr. Lights em up, Bulldog lights em up.... Jr. gets the jump on the staging.. he is ready before Bulldog even gets done with the burnout.... (damn that boy is eager to get another MUSTANG KILL)... His car was running strong all night long!!!!! Well, the Bulldog was another story....... Thats all I'll say about that.. :)
The lights light up, both cars launch... the Bulldog pulls out in front by about 2 lengths off the line and for about the first 1/8 mile or so.... Bulldog looks in the side mirror and can see Jr. Starting to gain on him..... There is nothing that Bulldog can do but prey the he keeps running strong or we run out of track... (LOL)... we cross the 1000ft. mark, side by side, dead even........ and.............

Jr. pulls in front at the last second by a 1/2 a fender!!!!!!!!!! The Bulldog then wimpers back to the trailer where he lay the rest of the night.....

No more running for the Bulldog till some parts get fixed......

PROPS TO JITSU JR.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NICE WIN AND ONE HELL OF A DRIVER FOR JUST STARTING OUT....

And folks.........

There will be a rematch (as long as the current mods stay the same)...........

If anyone else has their story or results from their Grudge Match.. please post em in here....

Grudge matches were by far the best part of the night! This was my first time going and i was really impressed with some of the people that showed up. But,i'm sure you missed the 7.8 second stang. YES,i did say 7.8 second stang. That thing hauled.....went once and took off. I didn't get how fast it was going cuz i was picking up my jaw from the 7.8 posted!!!

It was a good night....some people really weren't happy with their times. But the effort makes a difference. And some decide show before go.....

Yeah, those of you who came out, thanks for yall's support.... for those of you who talked to me... sorry if I was an ass... i wasnt the happiest camper last night.... it just was not a good day for me and it started once i got the car loaded......

It was nothing against any of ya'll........ It was the car..... needless to say, more $$$ out of my pocket to get her fixed..... :(:(

05-14-2006, 02:23 PM
Sorry you had such a bad night bulldog, hopefully you dont have too much to do. Maybe you can get yours running high 7's one day! haha. The grudge between you and jitsu was close....id feel damn good if i were you!

I do feel good about the run, just not the car... I could feel that something was very wrong with the car as soon as I launched, but I still ran her Balls to the Wall........ but Jitsu Jr. should feel even better... that kid is good.... :) .... he did very well against someone who has been drag racing for 14 years... I was impressed with his driving skills.... he needs a little fine tuning on coming out of the hole, but other than that, he did very well... Jitsu Sr. should be very proud of him and I sure he is.....

I wanted to run again, but after 14 years, you know when it is time to Stop.... New bushings for the lower control arms are gonna cost me around $40 or so... Had I tried to make 1 more pull, it could have cost me a lot more than that.... I could have snapped the bolt to the lower control arm and ended up having the right rear of the car on the ground, messed up the tire and rim, screwed up the rest of the rear suspension, and possibly broke the rear spline which would have sent the car right into the wall......... So i knew it was time to quit while i was ahead...... There is always next time.......

I would like to thank all of yall who came out to support, watch and run. The race with bulldog was just as he explained it on top but I don't thinK he had 2 LENGTHS out of the hole LOL, Got film!!!!!! lol. I want you all to know that Bulldog is a class act and my son and I respect him and his car immensely. No bull just balls, he suited up and showed up and he came to run. The race was really close and . No excuses after the loss.
WE WILL RUN AGAIN.
Bulldog, I told you the boy was ICE. How's it feel gettin beat by a baby :binky:. JK dude.
I want to thank you for all the really nice things you said about him. I am and always have been very proud of him. Wait till he matures some more, he's gonna be one hell of a racer (even though he already is). As he matures so will the car. They will both get faster.
Sleeper Z finally joined the 12 sec. club and we were stoked. We had some minor computer issues but had them cleared up and the car performed well. Thanks to Shadow,Bwake , J, MR2 and all the others for VTOWN representin !!!! Need to have more next time.
Does this mean we can have car of the month next month???? HAHAHAHAHAH
Will post some film and pics later this PM.
Hey Bulldog, Ill send you an E mail with the video attached

05-14-2006, 06:14 PM
We had a good time, good people and no excuses. Thats what i love. Jistu Jr, as we're calling him did an awesome job with the car. Now for him to learn stick, haha. Racing an auto and standard feel different though. Who's makin a trip next month????

Bulldog,i know what you mean by that....i may not have much experience but i can easily feel there is something wrong with my car and i know when to stop pushing things. Hope you work everything out,let us know!

Great match up guys, i wish i could of been there but i go to the track on wednesday and fridays when i can. I realy want that woop ass wednesday jacket.

Jitsu may not be the only one in the 12 second club though. I got my car tuned and had a torque converter put in so I should be in the 12's too. Does jr. want to try his luck on a rookie?

Props on both drivers and thanks for the pics. Jitsu what was the 0-60?

Whats up yall. Glad you like the Pics. Would love to post the dang video. Any help would be appreciated.
Dis1- Thats our next mod but I can't put it on untill we run Bulldog again. Mods have to stay the same for the rematch.
I'm glad you got it tuned. How different does it feel after the tune?
BTW- Who did it for you? Street or Dyno tune?
What type of TC did you get. I'm looking at a Vin 3200 after the Dog and I race again. maybe some 3.73's as well.
Where do you go for that woop as jacket?
Yes we'll run ya if you want. Gotta beat Jitsu Jr. first. lol
0-60 posted on the best times thread with other #'s

Jitsu,

Man you are awesome!!!!! That is very sportsman like of you.... Dont let me hold up your mods to the car...... But i now have a lot of respect for since you are going to wait for me to get the Bulldog fixed..... Ill let you know when she is fixed....

05-15-2006, 10:40 PM
I dont know how i lived without the tune, it really woke it up. A.R.T in buda tuned it for me and instaled the converter, it is a TCI 2500 stall and i know everybody recomends a 3000 or bigger but i am not out to make money racing so 2500 was good enough for me.

The woop ass jacket i think can be won on wednesday, but not sure since i have never won a bracket race before.

Might go this wednesday to the track to see what it runs, opens at 6:00. I will post up the numbers when i do.

I am one consistent MOFO..... LOL

I know that most of yall work 9 to 5 jobs and dont feel like driving to the strip on weekdays but i have a flexable hours, so if bulldog or jitsu want to make it happen post it. Its all about the thrill of the kill. But I cant say for sure how long i will have this set up.

jitsumania
05-15-2006, 10:55 PM
Hey Dis I hear that TCI 2500 is good for mixing it up on street and strip, oops scratch that street statement LMAO. After you go over 3K on the
TCI I hear that they crap out alot. Most of the guys on LS1tech recomend the Vindicator 3200 especially if you run 3.73 gears or higher. It still remains nice on the street. I love my daily driver and dont want to over do it.
BTW- Jitsu Jr. says to bring it. I'm gonna have to put that boy on a leash or something LMAO.

Hey Silver and Dis1, We usually try to go in caravan to MM. Sometimes we spend the night in Seguin so as to not have to drive back the same night. Its all good. Join the damn caravan. My son invited one of his friends last MM who just got a mustang Bullit that he ran for the first time. He had a blast. Ran low 15's but had a good time and got some experience. Maybe you Mustang owners can give him some low budget tips to trim his time.

Tell him to come to the car show. There will be plenty mustang owners around that can give him some tips on what to do, and maybe he could enter the show. We need more people to show. He could always join VM too. Jitsu, I know you'll be at the car show showing off your ride right?

Hey Steeda, I don't wanna stir up any shit but why won't you take your ride to the track, if you don't mind me asking.
Hey Bulldog, I'm scared to death of the Hong kong fuey chop suey death touch shit. Tell her not to hurt me please, I'll go.
If you wanna see some death touch stuff go to: www.kyushinryuaikijujitsu.net (http://www.kyushinryuaikijujitsu.net) on the self defense page there are some cool knockouts :confused2: on video under the Kyusho jitsu section. You may see someone you know!!!
I love contributing to good causes.

Well, the #15 car is considered by Steeda to be a "one of one", it has never been tracked and is going to stay that way. Don't want to expose it to those conditions, hell it has never even been driven in the rain! I know it was designed for SCCA type racing, but I still probably won't ever do that either. What do you think it would do in the 1320? It is putting down 458 rwhp with 396 rwtq and weighs 3300lbs? My wife and I are more into collecting, cruising and showing.

As far as the other cars are concerned, they may make it to the track....one of these days. I was wanting to build up the '01 for some straight-line and road course action (i.e. keeping the IRS), but I am going to be really busy with more important stuff until probably next spring. By then....who knows......I really do like the new Vette....(but don't tell my Mustang peeps)

Jitsu - Liked the vids.... Kevin always wanted to knock me out when I worked with him... I dont like the felling of being knocked out... but he did teach me how to use it in case i needed it for LE reasons.... Same with Jeremy... he has taught me some stuff too..... I like the energy from the hands thing... makes me feel all warm inside... LOL
