i'll give you that one Brian. but my friendship was ruined over bullshit, that i won't stand for. so as far as i give a shit anymore. instead of being one friend short, i'm two friends short. oh well, life goes on.

In my opinion, and only my opinion, If whoever you say was your friend, and really a true friend, you nor him or them would let "talk" or rumors come between you guys. For people who are like that, I call them acquaintances, or just people you meet or know for awhile until something such as this happens.

I guess being a cop, I have learned what TRUE FRIENDS are all about. When I went to the Police Academy, I lost a lot of realtionships with people that I thought were "friends". When I chose and started my career path, they no longer wanted anything to do with me.

A True Friend will be there for you and stand behind you no matter what!!!! As you know, I used to live in V-Town. I had a lot of acquaintances there. There only a few people that I consider my True Friends. One I am sure you dont know, but the other I know that you know.

In the World of Law Enforcement and I mean all areas of it, people who do that kind of work have a special bond with each other. One of them works for TDCJ that I worked with for several years. He will do whatever I need him to do, and the same for me goes to him. All I have to do is ask and say when.

The other is Mr. J, "All Motor Boy". When him and I worked with each other, we established a bond with each other and an understanding with each other,and I also have a certain type of bond with one of his relatives, I know that if I needed anything at all and J or his family member could do something for me..... He wouldn't miss a beat and would do whatever I asked. And I am pretty sure that J knows that I would do the same for him and his family. All that he would need to do is ask, and I'll be there. Even though J and I have some what grown apart, distance wise, we both know that we each have a True Friend.

My point is, if something happened between you and some thing stupid or minor destroyed that realtionship...... They were never your Friend to begin with.
