Just wanted to let everyone know what is going on. I have some inside knowledge as to what the Government is doing since I am a Police Officer.
What I say is from personal knowledge and some things that I see going on around here.
Ya'll get the FUCK OUT of Victoria!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you have somewhere to go, GO!!!!!!!
Just around here in the little PO DUNK TOWN of KENEDY, we have received 11 State Troopers to "ASSIST" as they say, in the area. All Law Enformcent Agencies in the area have already been planning for 2 days. We have emergency supplies already in place and plan to tackle whatever situation we get handed to us. We gonna take care of bidness here. I know that Victoria PD & SO are also doing the same thing (inside source). We have already designated several Shelters, but ONLY for local residents, ie.. the sick, elderly, children, etc... NOT BROKE DICKS who dont heed the warnings!!!!!! We have received reports from the National Weather Service advising us that there is a good probability that RITA will hit somewhere between Freeport and Rockport (about 150 miles of coastline). The reports advise that Rita may continue on a Northwestern path and then curve once it hits land (aside from the small curve it is taking now). That means that V-Town, Goliad, Karnes County are right in the BITCHES path!!!!!
Please, if you are reading this, GET SOMEWHERE!!!!!!! I am realy expecting the worst here in Karnes County.
I hope that whoever is reading this takes my advice, Please!!!
I wish all of you safe trips wherever you may travel to in the next 36 hours. I pray for all of you and your friends and family. And if you are dumb enough to "ride it out" , I even pray for your stupid asses too!!!!
As for me, well I have no choice but to stay. That is part of being a Police Officer. I have to put my life on the line every day for people that I dont even know. It is my job, my duty, to stay and protect the citizens of this State & Country, and if that means staying behind so that I can watch the properties and belongings of the Residents of Karnes County, then that is what I have to do.
