I was just informed a few days ago the a fellow Hot Rodder / Drag Racer is no longer with us. He is up there Drag Racing on the Highways of Heaven now.
Some of you may have known him or atleast seen him at SAR. His name was Colin Martin. He drove 2 hot rods, 1 was a 56 Chevy Belaire (daily driver) and he had a Camaro (orange I think) that ran 9.80's on ALL MOTOR. He was from Beeville.
The president of his club called and told me today that we will be having an honorary get together at the Sonic in Beeville on Oct 1st starting at around 7:00 or so. I would appreciate it if some of you could show up.
I have to work, but I am going to try and get off that night so that I can attend.
