Dark blue 91 Talon, 16 valve DOHC. 5 speed, 130,xxx miles, sun roof. New paint and headliner, new timing belt, all new oil seals replaced on the front side of the motor, new wheel bearings on the back, and the AC blows cold.
Bigger 16x8 OZ wheels and tires on the front for better traction, stock wheels and tires on the back, I still have the stock wheels for the front if you prefer, but I like the way the bigger OZ's look on the front.
Problems:
1. Interior lights dont work, don't work on my other talon either, common in DSMs
2. High idle and idle surge on start up, smooths out after car warms up.
can be fixed with a new $150 IAC sensor from auto zone. very easy to put in, its like 2 8mm bolts on the throttle body.
3. To get it into 1st gear, you have to go from 2nd then to 1st to line up the syncros in the tranny, its common on all older cars, my other talon is like that and so were a few of my friends older mustangs.
Other than that it looks good and runs great, it was getting ~30 MPH on the highway before we took it of the insurance. Tryin to sell it for my sister she moved to NY and needs money for bills.
Im just asking $1500 for it. I checked the blue book and it blue books for around $2400.
