Autocross forum?

Maybe there should an autocross forum for us people that want to go fast in corners, not just a straight line?

It is a possibility ... say get 10 or so people interested and that do it and I dont see why i cant make an Auto X Section for you guys ... I mean, we made one for everybody else I dont see why we cant make one for you ...

ok...only down side...is even w/ 10 folks in town...we don't have enough to hold a meet. God i hate having to go out of town. Not to mention i'm kinda leary of the san antonio groups new place....they require a photocopy of your insurance....and i'm not about to let my insurance company find out my car is used for something more then driving on the streets.

and i agree...i',m not about to give any of that pertinent info just to do a "timed driving event" and get dropped by my insurance seeing how autocrossing is NOT considered racing.

it's actually the san antonio sports car association.
which i guess is the legit san antonio scca group.
Spokes from austin is suppose to have some pretty good meets.
as does the porche club in houston and corpus, and of course the houston scca group.
None of them require a copy of insurance....just that you are insured.

well you can do scca events in houston. theres one in march. I plan on going, maybe some people from victoria will show up?

at ggp i take it....man that's a hella drive from here. i've done it a few times....not to mention only getting 3 runs kinda sucks.
The last time i was there was for a drift day....autoxers ended up coming over and attending our event instead....i had like 30 runs....man...wish i had the spare tires for that again.

i want to get into AutoX since my celica isnt the fastest, but handles pretty decent. plus this is a lot more Dependant upon the driver than the car.
