Seguin. Small town, Big city prices.

is it really that hard to find a damn rental house for a decent price? or is it just this crap town? all the ones for rent here are in ghetto neighborhoods. which isnt hard since this whole town is ghetto.

maybe well just live at the track. LOL. or have yall ever noticed the little white house on the edge of the track property, down by the end of the lanes? yeah, we should live there!

:imsorry: im really bored. mhm.

Rental prices are going to continue to go up. Especially since McQueeney is there. People are always going to try and make what they think they can for rent. Which I think is pretty crazy, I am lucky I am in a small rural county and rent is not too bad.

i dont even see why McQueeney is so damn great. its a shit hole little town too. and then a lake with mansions. whoopdeedoo. i understand that its close to new braunfels, san antonio, and san marcos...but still. these people want 975 amonth for a 3/2/2 on a garden sized lot! in victoria scotts parents paid 700 a month for the same shit with twice the yard, AND outside city limits. i just dont get it.

I guess it is like the old saying goes, location, location, location. Granted I have been to Victoria and I like it. You could buy a house in S.A. for what they want to rent in Seguin.

yeah but we dont want to live IN san antonio. scott would rather drive 40 mins to work every day than live in town. he lived on the south side of houston for a year and was really glad to get out of the city when he transfered to SA. plus we dont have enough in savings to make a down payment on a home loan :( we thought we were gonna buy a house here in seguin ina couple months...but reality hit us after we talked to the bank. oh well.

Yep..........rental prices are high..........we paid $1100/month for a 3/2/2 after we sold our house and were looking for a new one.

yeah we ALMOST jumped into paying 1100 a month for a 4/2/2 carport. had two living areas cuz they turned the garage into a room, and a pretty damn big shop out back that called our names. but it was previously flooded in the 70s and 98. its close to the river. then again, most everything in seguin is close to the river. ha. shallow banks. im allergic to mold though, and its a big too large and a bit too much for now, so we pulled our heads outta the clouds and came back to reality to look for something more reasonable. turns out it was quite a deal.
