Im glad you were at the house when i came by because it would have taken me forever to figure what the problem was on the grand prix. thanks for the help and tools. it was good to be able to put a face and name to both you and rebel. it was a lot of fun. hopefully the next time we have a cruise night i will be able to go along with yall. thanks again and nice meeting yall. Nice to meet you also :thumbs: By the way I pulled out one of my High school annuals and I do remember your Dad :thumbs: I really didn't know him very well...but ya know my memory isn't the greatest anymore ;) I think he was pretty shy :?: What color and make was his car again :?:

his car was a brown 72 chevelle, with white racing stripes. yea he wasnt a very sociable guy he didnt play sports or anything. he was into wood shop and what not.
oh yea and if it makes you feel any better you dont look old enough to be my mother.
yea i hope that solved my problem.

lol....tried that already.......i have a bad temper. lol.....we cleaned the ground points but it still isnt starting every time.

Did you use a jumper cable to make you a different ground this time? Like I said, if it starts doing this..........the problem is a broken down ground cable..........replace the ground cable. Cleaning the contacts at the block and the body for the ground may not have been enough. We cleaned the contacts on the positive/starter side, but the problem could also be in the starter.

we dont have any here but im going home this weekend so i will try it out then. its still starts just not right off.
