'Cause u can't afford turbos......lol. j/k dude. Turbos FTW. You can make more power more reliably with a turbo motor than same engine trying to make same hp all motor.

everyone has a turbo and i think it takes more to go N/A then throw a turbo or nitrous

very true turbo and nos is just quick hp and varying on the turbo depends on wether or not its more dependable ive seen turbos blow seals after seals

well you can build as much hp as you want with yout turbo motor just remember to get some traction... i will take a 250 hp all motor honda over a 500 hp turbo honda anyday.... bet you wont beat me from a stop on the street or at the track ....lol no matter what yes turbo is fun and i enjoy them but i like bolt ons and nitrous...

I wish I could get s/c ed, just cant' afford it right now. Personally I wouldn' do nitrous because i dont want to loose dependability. Still, my N/A mustang has been the funnest car I have ever owned!

All Motor for me at this point .. I wanna have an 11 sec all motor GT on with a Stock Block (notice i didnt say stock internals.. LOL)

Then it will be to the Boost .. Probably a S/C, Vortech T-Trim for me or I might even consider the ProCharger DS1 series ...... :):)

I think that all motor deserves more respect. Anyone can add a turbo or nitrous. (we are even planning on a turbo for my Sunfire!!!) I think that a true sports car should be all motor....to see what it's really made of. My car on the other hand is just a cheap ride and doesn't need respect. Therefor.....turbo. Phil's car, I feel, would get more respect as all motor. Maybe I am just old school. Am I making any sense???

Why not just have one of each?

Well, I have three SC cars in the garage...I bet ya think I will say SC...NOT  There is nothing better than an old push rod, naturally aspirated motor. I will always love the old cars, hopefully we will own one again someday. So I am going to say...NA ftw

I love a 12 second all motor car better then anything.... its a fun car whether its a v8 or a 4 banger... I plan on gettin my H22 into the 12's all motor... see what happens... unless I sell her before September then I will buy a turbo car but this time with the ALL WHEEL DRIVE to back it up... that race from a roll shit gets old with you turbo fuckers..... line em up!!! thats how races go buddy...:) **cough**bwake**cough** 0-60 is my strength all motor... When I make it to the track I plan on winning all races within the first 60ft.... be way ahead leaving the turbo guys to play catch up.... and if they do i got somethin for that ass!!! hahaha

with a turbo you can still have efficiency even at 1000 hp. i'd love to see you try to get a n/a engine to 1000 hp and still have gas mileage.

turbos are AMAZING, don't get me wrong

but the reliability of a naturally aspirated is something noone can argue with

but who could argue with a twin turbo ford GT? :D

rumblebox

why is it necessarily more reliable than boosted? if it's tuned correctly you have nothing to worry about unless you're talking about like 30psi on a stock LS1 or something.

these guys are making 600hp to the wheels with a stock 5.3 and a Z06 cam. it has had hundreds of runs already.

more parts=more things that can go wrong

Not saying turbos are UNreliable, but i do often hear of problems with them at the track
