I am ready to buy the CAI (Cold Air Induction) for my 03 GT. I was wondering which one is better. Any Help will be appreciated..

to tell you the truth the cheap ones off of ebay for like 35$ are almost just as good as the brand name one that cost 3x's as much

JLT seems to 'make' the best amount of power on the dyno.

Demolet or JLT.....either of those make good choices.

JLT is very bad with the air fuel mixtures when it comes to the 2V N/A Cars .... A shop in houston has been seen this more and more frequently with the 2V motors ...
I would recommend the C&L Performance Intake over all others ... It may not be all flashy and what not (unless you get the polished), but your performance #'s will definately show ...
I have tested numerous CAI's on my car, and the C&L was the best feeling for me ...

yeah, i guess you're right...all of the JLT 'goodness' i've witnessed had some sort of blower in the same engine bay

I remember an issue of MM&FF a couple of years back that tested them all and the Demolet produced the most "bang for the buck" of them all. C&L does make a nice piece as well too.

BBK Intakes blow!!! I used one for about a month and then trashed it!!! The fenderwell mounts are a pain in the ass to install .. not to mention the filters can get water in them if you go through water (it splashes up)...
The JLT Intakes are AWESOME on a Blown or Turboed Car ... As for the N/A Cars, the air fuel bounces around the band for some reason, which is very bad ...

These are the steps that i would do ....
Step 1. C&L Performance Package ... Includes the 85MM MAF, K&N Air Filter, True Flow Intake Pipe .. It comes in Satin and Polished.
Step 2. BBK 75MM Throttle Body, C&L Intake Plenum, 1" Throttle Body Spacer, 5/8" Intake Spacer
Step 3. BBK Lower Intake
i am waiting for this part to come out. With the test #'s that have been released, this unit produces the most hp and tq curves across the band. 25HP on a N/A Car .... and like 45 HP on a S/C car ... The numbers are much greater and promising then the other intakes out there .. like the Foxlake P51, Bullitt Intake, etc ...
i mentioned BBK because they have been associated with mustang mods for a long time.

25 HP on a CAI is definately quite impressive. What design difference makes it so much better? Is that with a K&N or without.
hes talking about the intake manifold on the mustang not the actual cold air induction system. mustangs use a 2 piece design (upper & lower plenums).
oh and BBK makes there own high flow filters

Dean answered this already .. but yeah, the CAI Complete kit including the upper intake plenum, throttle body and intake piping will net you about 20 - 25 HP at the crank .. at the wheels its about 15 HP or so ...

And Dean .. yes BBK has been into modding Mustangs for a long time and they do make some great products ... Their CAI's are not the best as far as #'s go .. Yes they do look good and are all shiny and stuff .. they just dont put out the numbers that most are looking for ...

Ive always thought the fenderwell CAI was a pretty neat application but I dont own a mustang so I dont know about performance gains. Hopefully if things go well Ill find me a cheap 87-93 fox body soon and I can see what all this comotion about owning a mustang is all about. lol

just a cold air alone on a n/a mustang may get you 3-5whp max

^^^ What he said ... with the combo of the rest, you might get 15 - 20

Good Choice .... You can even get it all polished if you want the shiny purty look .... :):)
