how light a flywheel can you go on a lightly modded engine i want it to rev up faster.and i hear that a 8-9lb flywheel would be overkill and not really a good street set up maybe an 11-12lb how much is a stock flywheel wiegh?and could it be used with a stock clutch or wuold i have to upgrade that as well?and is this a legit ? or does the flywheel not have to much to do with accleration :?:

Lmk if you need one!! I have an ACT clutch and Assco flywheel for sale :thumbs: :thumbs: . Will fit d16 trannies. With a light weight flywheel your revs will climb faster putting you in your powerband quicker but if you don't shift fast enough (while under hard acceleration) your revs will fall fast too,taking back out of your powerband when you shift. Also if you change the flywheel you might as well change the clutch while the tranny is open. In my opinion light wieght flywheels are overrated and you really dont need one on a mild street car.
