so it pretty much a straight forward kinda thing u think u might be able to help me out? any articular place i can get a conversion harness end ecu? salvage yard? ebay? i spoke w tardo about it he said that would more than likely fix the codes its throwin causin the a/f mixture to get all out of whack my car sputters and back fires dont know if its gettin too much fuel or not enough. im runnin no cat so i guess its caused by the o2 sensors

what codes are you throwing? you cna get them from ebay or if you look on h-t you cna find them as well. do you still have both 02 sensors hooked up?

yeah they are both hooked up. im looking at an obd1 ecu and conversion harness off ebay that together is not breaking my bank. is this something i could possibly do myself? and would both sensors be neccessary after the conversion?

so any ecu from 95 or older should work as long as its vtec?

if you want to run obd1 you need an ex or si ecu from a 92-95 honda civic. (p28) you could run other ecus and have them chipped then have a base map burned to them. ie:po5,p72,p73,p75etc i could go on.
