Ok, so I'm coming home from school last Thursday and as I'm passing Telferner on my right, I see a red welding truck pulled over on the shoulder. So of course I pull onto the inside (left) lane. The truck is still about 150-200 feet in front of me and all of the sudden a truck I didn't see that was parked in front of the other truck decides to pull out from the should and try to make the turn around on 59. He was in an old ass red '83 Chevy. He barely even accelerates and I guess he didn't look to see me coming. So I put on the brakes and try and swerve to the right but I didn't have enough time. I clipped the rear end of his truck (which didn't move his heavy ass at all) and I came to a complete stop and rolled into the ditch. His truck was fine and he could have driven away. To bad I couldn't say the same for poor Michelle. So he's parked in between the highway and I'm off in the ditch. I get out and get my stuff together and he walks up and starts jabbering some Spanish off to me. He didn't know English. So DPS finally gets there and after all is done the officer walks up to me and says, "Well, he has no license, no insurance and not even a Mexico issued ID." So i was like, "****." Now I still have to hear from insurance whether or not it is totaled. Hopefully I will find out tomorrow.

Nope, all the info I had on him was his name...
which was "Juan Fernando Chavez" of all names...
I have no idea what happened to him or his family...
They just got into the tow truck that was towing their vehicle away...
doesn't seem right does it?
Pay insurance all your life and hit someone who doesn't have it and you're pretty much screwed...
oh well, it's all good...
I'm thinking about finding a used '05-'06 Evo with no more then 30k miles on it...
