Sounds silly I know, but if anyone has one or runs across one, lmk. I need to finish GT4, and something happened to my laser. If anyone knows someone who fixes them, that would be a big help also.

remove the rubber pads at the bottom...unscrew all the screws...careful manuever the top cover off. Then remove the cover of the disc drive. There should be a little dial at one of the edges...move it either way...testing it between adjustments w/ whatever game you are trying (yeah GT4 is a good one to test on...i have a ps2 that is a POS cuz it can't play it). put everything back together and voila`

yeah, i tried that, and moved it about 8 or 10 progressive clicks either way, and still nothing. all my other games play fine, but i am a gt fan, and it pisses me off that finally i get time to finish it and wont read. i am about 50% done, and now this. maybe ill wait untill ps4. yellow stang, maybe ill hit you up to borrow yours.
