View Full Version : How to Fix my blinker :(

Ok so a few months ago my car was re-painted and now my passenger side blinker blinks really fast and the driver side is fine. What do I need to do to fix this?? Any help would be appreciated :) If you say change the blinker fluid i will kill you!! j/k :)

im pretty sure its the relay going out...... there is one for each..... mine are located under the center console. (if im sitting in the drivers seat its to the right of my right foot).

i believe your relays are going to be near the pedals as well, the relay is about in inch big and should be labeled.

this should be your problem.....

make sure ALL your passenger side turn signal lamps work. when it blinks quickly, it means you have a bulb out.

make sure ALL your passenger side turn signal lamps work. when it blinks quickly, it means you have a bulb out.

This is probaly exatcly what it is ... Fords are notorius for this happening. One of your other bulbs is out on the passenger side or it is not completely plugged in ... Remove the headlight assembly and check the connections on both sides ...

my old truck had this same problem. but i drove it that way for years with no problems.

that is another possible solution....... i still think its the relay

the turn signal flasher relay would just make them both NOT blink.

had same thing happen to me 96 ford contour turned out to be a bad ground in the trunk
