Here is what I am suggesting.... Just like SVT's page....

I think that we should have a thread of all the members and pics of their cars, that way we can put a Face & Car with the screen name.....

Put it in the Index Section and Title it the "Viewing Room" with the subtitle/description Pictures of members and their rides!!!!!!!

Snakes... Can you do something about that ?????

I am not sure that I understand exactly what you want. How about a sub-section under the "Jokes, Videos, Pictures" section or under the "New Members" section?

If it is under the Jokes, Videos, Pictures section it will eventually move its way down the list and dicipate. If you make it under the General Forum Index, It will be viewed by everyone when they log onto vtownracing. After that is made you can then add topics to it such as Honda's, Nissan's, Ford's, Chevy's etc.....

not exactly.... but sort of.... I want it to be right on the home page so that everyone can see it..... then people can make topics about Ford, Chevy, Honda, etc....

YES.... But if you make a post under the Jokes, Videos, Pictures thread, then if it is not viewed or people make new threads, it will drop down on the list. I would like something to be on the top of the list and stay on the top of the list. Something that doesn't move down b/c people have not posted on it in a while. Let me draw a picture out.......

under the vtownracing.com index is a section under General Forum called MEMBERS RIDES and then underneath it i.e. the description of V-Town Racing Memebers and their Rides

You would click on MEMBERS RIDES and go into the Forum.

Then there would be Subsections or Topics Titled "FORD", "CHEVY", "HONDA", "NISSAN", etc..etc.. and so on...

That is a possiblity as well...... I just wanted something to show off to everyone that visits the site, plus if it is on the front page, it would be real easy to find with it being right there.....you couldnt miss it......

Just want everyone to be able to show of their shit, so to speak....

Once I get granted access, I will make a sample or test version under the Groups Section and get feedback on it to see if everyone likes or hates it ..... Also gonna add a group or two if I can...... We left some rodders out... i.e. DODGE... I would like to see some Dodge owners get on here as well that way they dont feel left out, that is with the re-birth of the Charger and all..... Plus the SRT Truck

Are you saying like how they got a certain topic of FORDS. With just pics of members cars and their mods if any.

If there are any graphic artists out there, I would suggest a new logo for the site. Something custom would be real nice. Just a thought.

has anyone thought about getting some sponsors on the site? would help fund the site and get the sponsrs some advertisement. we would def have to cont to grow so that the sponsor will see that vtoanracing can help their bussiness. maybe offer a discount for members. just an idea,i know some forums i visit do this.

I like this idea also. Maybe, another group with all car brands listed, and a subsection for each persons ride respectfully to the brand. Or maybe just a domestic and an import, and motorcycle, etc. Only under each forum, there would be member specific, non reply threads that can be edited, like in you profile for bragging rights, alterations, modifications, etc. Maybe limit each thread to 5 photos or so. I guess kinda like car domain, only not so complicated.

We have the album on the main "portal" page, "Users Cars" this is how we will handle pics with this new version. We may add different sections later. (i.e. car clubs). It is going to be a question of server space.

Once we get the new graphics in the Top Header, you will be able to click the graphic and return to the "portal" page.

We need to edit the Sites list and include as many Web Sites as possible. I recommend adding a section for *Parts i.e. Summit Racing, Jegs, Steeda, Ford Racing, etc... Imports Sites as well..... anyone can submit them, we just need to edit the Site List Page.... I dont think we need stuff for *Children, *Home, etc....

Just another thought.... Guess I am browsing around the site too much huh????? LOL

we already have user titles- bench racer, professional, etc. so how about some custom title that the mods hand out for people doing or saying exceptional things?
