well i mechanic now out at patterson but i dont like it. I mean its cool and all but gets boring to me. lol plus the parts are way too heavy...haha but i am seriously planning on attending this school when i finish my car. i only started working for some extra car part cash. i dont have to work right now so why not go to school. it looks intresting enough and if you check it out look for the ls2 they built... ahhh wish it was mine they did... maybee we can use mine as a project or when i get my 04 i can use it... i dont know.

getting ahead of myself but lmk what you guys think

my cousin went through uti....he is having trouble finding jobs in Houston. Everyone hires you to be an apprentice, not a straight on mechanic.

My engine builder is or was an instructor at SAM. Lots of his best students are working for Warren/ DEI / Hendrick, etc...

never uti its a waste of time. this is on a whole different level.

98aggie seems to know first hand. i think its worth my time to go even if i dont use it for work the knowledge will save me money for a lifetime :)

That school sounds pretty sweet. If you don't mind me asking, what kind of money would I be looking to spend if I want to attend that school?

depends on which classes you want to take. they offer 3 courses. 1. head 2. block and now offer 3. cnc. each one if i am not mistakin is 15k. if you pay cash they require 5500 down and like 1800 a month. financial aid will cover 8000 per course which leaves you paying around 7000 out of pocket. there are grants and scolarships which you can also apply for to help you. i know sema offers a scholarship. also a couple other automotive companies. i have a complete list of them and info about applying. i also have extra school information packets. if you are intrested pm me and i can get one to you.

i would have been in school already but i had to get my life straight. i owed like 1550 in old tickets, i owed surcharges, and reinstatement fees on my drivers license, i had to pay all that this month to be able to drive again. i cant go up there without it. now i need to finish paying my 3k in back loans when i went to welding school. get all my credit cards in line and whatnot... so its july... hopefully i will be out of debt and situated enough to focus on school the way i should and not worry about working when i attend :)

woohooo i get my drivers license tomorrow!!!!!!!!!
