New Personal Best In the Stock motor/drivetrain gto!!!!!!!

We fought hard tonight with runs from 14.1-12.9 track wasnt well prepped and our setup just was not working... Thanks to Carlton who suggested we knock our tire pressure down a bit more we set our new personal best of 12.3 @ 113mph !!!!!!! just bolt ons.... we let the pressure down and said F**k it. launch it balls out and if the clutch lets go oh well!!

for the non believers... i hate to say i told you so. if we can get a little more traction and a 1.5 -1.7 60' i say 12.2-12.1 maybee just maybee that 12.0

i think i am going to do clutch/410 gears and see if we can knock out an 11.9 on stock motor :thumbs:

another gto on the ls1gto boards just broke 11.9 on fully stock internals no power adders so it can be done..... :)

no vid.. :( sucks. i tried. the 60' and race weight is holding the car back still. i am sure 11's soon. it has to hit 11's with full interior. you do not gut out a very nice gto... i am working on other ways to drop the weight this week. we are running skinnies next time (hopefully friday) and dropping a couple uneeded pieces. replaceing a few too with lighter pieces. i drove it once and ran a 14.1 @ 112 lol... full pressure i got nervous and went through the water box...haha it was funny. i willl try again next time... i was all over the track and everytime i gave it throttle it spun... i had to walk it out then nail it... but i wasnt trying to learn the car that night we were trying to prove a point. mike was driving. i dont think it will hit 11's without the 410 gearing... m6=no lol the 410s should help it run with the a4's a bit better... but i do like killing f-bodies at 165mph+

we will probably try to break into 11's at hrp though...

i have heard alot of he say she say. but if anyone has anything smart to say please do it in person and not behind my back. this is not intended for any one person but if you take offense to it let me know. i am tired of everyone talking mess.

and everyone please kill the hidden nitrous rumor. if i spray you will know.. it wont be int he 12's thats for sure.... and around 500hp with stock internals.

there were enough witnesses there i am sure and if you dont believe me then i call you out to the next event. we are out at the track almost once a week. bring something to run me in or come to watch. consider it a call out

p.s. i get my license back this week so i will have wheel time soon and get a chance to finally learn my car and drive it woohoo!!

nice times vic. are you still running stock suspension parts? should have the hatch running soon if you want a run with her. completely changing up the car =). dropping her off in htown next week ;).

yeah complete stock suspension, drivetrain and engine.... :) i do have air bags inside of the stock springs to eliminate wheel hop but other then that it is stock...

i am itching to throw my nitrous kit back in and bust out some low 11's but i want to bust 11s on stock internals and suspension just to say i did it... only 2 others have done it. one m6 and 1 a4... with gears and ls7 clutch i am sure it wont be a problem. after cam and spray i am sure 10's will be within reach.

it has to drive up there full interior and drive back the exact same way... i will not gut anything out at the track or run any differently and will not trailor it... i have to stick by that.... personal goals for my daily driver.... and we drive it every single day. its our only car lol. the goal was a daily drive 11 sec car but now thats within reach, 10 sec daily driver is the new goal

Toss those Flows in the trash and you will gain another .10 for sure. Those damn things made my car slower and it has no where near the power that LS2 is thumping out. That and the gears will be the trick to 11's. Good luck dude!!

dude i drop em everytime i go to the track lol..... soon as i get there i pull those pos's off.. i love the way they sound but the car sounds choked up when i run em. i bet i pick up a good amount of power when i pull em off haha....

no track prep whatsoever. i'm going to baytown from now on. fuck SAR

hoping to have the hatch done in time for pinks. we are changing everything from turbo to manifold/down pipe new fuel system the works.
looking at being very competetive this year. just hoping everything can be fabbed up in time for pinks. if not ill be at aprils mm.
