what did you get the megadeath, S-cam, or did you get a custom one?

vic

custom comp grind :) i wanted the megadeath but its just not for my setup... i am thinking long term witht the car... i have the nitrous kit so i went with a 224/230 .581 and going to run a 150 shot... since it is my daily driver. the megadeath is pretty large at a 612 lift. i should have it in next week. wish me luck

Must of gotten XFI lobes, which have faster ramp and higher lift than the XE-R lobes. Any advanced ground into the cam? You get a good set of double springs for it, the 918 behives won't cut it.

That's a good cam for the LS2. Easy to tune and has good street manners.

That is similar to the cam I stock in my low compression LS1 motor with AFR 225 heads at 9:1 compression and made 450rwhp.

i am not sure about advance.. i have to check.. yeah i am going with the patriot duals this time around... i sold the beehives. nice numbers... i think patrick tuned this cam in a gto too?? i forgot... yeah its a much better choice for me... thanks for the hlp i will let you know on the advance

i am just happy i am finally doing it... i was happy with 12.3's lol and i actually was going to buy some wheels and shit... mike kept telling me stop going to the track and put the cam in already... but i was being hard headed. thinking the car was fast enough... NOT! haha so i am happy. i wish it was maybee a 112lsa ... i love that choppy sound :)

LSA does give it the chop, it is the durations. If there is not enough chop for you at the normal idle, drop it down to 800 or 850 then it will chop plenty.

This cam will sound similiar to Patricks car right before he sold it, don't know if you heard it.

PRC double springs, chromoly pushrods and titanium retainers a must Vic for that setup to last. Now get ready to start breakin shit :puter: lol. Good luck.
Sleeper in for a complete suspension makeover next wed to transfer all that dam power to the ground. You might wanna consider beefing up your suspension before you start twisting shit (frame) :yikes: with that cam and spray. Subframe connectors are a good start. UMI 2 point work well and reasonably priced, and some QA1 adjustable shocks for the rear. Then later do some LCA's torque arm and panhard bar. That way you could set up for either drag or x-cross. Good luck with the cam brother.

thanks jits with my independent rear suspension traction is no simple task lol. but i am upgrading my diff cover, driveshaft, subframe connectors, stubs, and shafts... make sure nothing brakes when i run a slick... but thats probably a while later...

going with all the good stuff to make it last too !!
