Suggestions for more members

so does anyone have any ideas on how we can boost the amount of members we have on vtownracing? i know that we have more that 194 people in this city that race or that are interested in cars. maybe get some women to join the site. you know that men will follow women just about anywhere they go lol. but seriously post up any ideas that you can come up with.

get more people to sport the stickers. i know at least 4 of the new members got on cause they saw mine. the fact that they hang out with me and i talk about the site prolly didn't have anything to do with it. lol

Some type of annoucement flyer posted at the autoparts stores might help.i know there are a few car shows coming up soon maybe we could have someone pass them out. theres still people that dont know about us. maybe we could do a toy collection or some kind of event for the community for christmas to show that not everyone who owns a modded vehicle races up and down navarro but that we are willing to help someone out as well.

edit: isnt there a christmas parade? maybe we can have some of the cars participate in the parade with a banner or something similar.

I could prolly have them in within 2 weeks or so.. There is a place in Stockdale that I was going to get them at, the more we buy the cheaper they are.... we only had about 20 shirts ordered last time..... I would love to have 50 or so made, that would make the price around $10 - $13 each.... Probably would have to go with one color though, instead of numerous colors. Grey or White are pretty common colors so they are cheaper shirts.... maybe some pink ones for the chicks?????? I will try and contact that place in Stockdale in the next week or so and see what they can do... maybe even have to take a road trip I guess.....

sign up for the parade was deadlined at last saturday...fierce and my club were thinking about it, but we passed it up...to much work. you gotta do x-mas lights on ur car, snow, and blare x-mas music...we seriously considered it..but no...plus. there was a limit of 5 cars from each car organization, unless it's the antique cars. but i do like the idea of the flyers at the autoparts stores..i can get James at autozone to do it...and i could talk to JD at advance about it as well.

As far as getting more chicks on here,yea....most of my girl friends aren't that into cars. I am. Good luck on that part. Haha. And i could help spread the word for V-town somewhat,but i only have so many connections. Most of my guy friends are gay and can't even change a flat tire. And be careful recruiting the younger crowd,we don't want a bunch of morons who can't control their vehichles. I can say i am young and female but i'm a good driver and i've had my car for 4 years so i know it. I hate most female drivers and young punks. Ok,enough rambling. I'll help out,let me know what you guys want me to do.

Once we get enough members...maybe have a drag/carshow that the mustang club wanted to do. Maybe even have a drift exhibition (please :angel4: )

But it is still just a website...not like we are a club or anything (i don't think we are)

If we go that route, then our shirts can be bought and payed for, and then sold for a few $$ over the cost to make a little money....

From there we can donate to Toys for Tots, or other charities, have car shows with V-Town as the main sponsor, that way we are actually a non-profit orginazation (sp)........been up for 25 hours now........ then at the end of the year, we keep what we are allowed to keep by LAW and then donate the rest to some sort of orginazation.. IE O'Connor Cancer Foundation, or something like that.....

Yep, you are going in the right direction, but the site is already incorporated into TISD. Therefore, we don't have to do anything. The sponsorships would go to TISD.
