he didnt whoop diaz. he didnt really do any damage,diaz could have been more aggressive in his stand up game but he is very proficient on the ground. diego didnt even try to do apply any subs or try to end the fight. diaz was going for submiissions the entire fight. he buckled sanchezs knees a couple of times. i want to see a rematch. my money is on diaz

Daiz's face didnt look to good after that fight J , I got it recorded on the DVR if you need to see it again, When Sanchez gets hit in the face he drops and goes for the shoot, he's done that in his last two fights. Diaz might have buckled him one time, but sanchez kept him on his back and kept the pressure on him and he couldnt do anything!! I expected alot from Diaz not only because of his standup abilities and the fact his with the Gracie camp, but for the attitude he had towards sanchez about getting paid mora than him and not payin his dues. If it had stayed toe to toe no doubt Diaz would have pulled a Robbie Lawler on his ass. What i couldnt get over is whe he (Diaz) fought Karo Parisian(sp) how they were on the ground getting out of each others submissions and take downs but he couldnt get out from underneath the "overpaid overhyped rookie"

sanchez is stronger than diaz there is no doubt about that. he was also beat up in the face as well. diaz defended well on the ground. look at the fight there were alot of punches thrown by diego that should have connected that didnt due to diazs defense and ground skills. diaz kept going after subs and was even real close when the bell rang on one attempt. most bjj fighters are very comfortable on thier backs and alot prefer it. whe i train and im in shape i prefer to fight off of my back,i also prefer to take the fight to the ground. i think diaz will knock him out if there is a rematch. diaz is the toughest opponent that he has faced and he did ok however i dont think he didenough to win the fight.

i think randy will take the belt back,as will mir. if mir wouldnt have gotten hurt in that motorcycle accident he would still be champ. what about the return of bj penn,i would love to see bj penn whip diego sanchezs ass up and down the cage. and tito and ken as the coaches for the next ultimate fighter. i dont think they can get along long enough for a tv series. but who knows?

i wonder if the ufc will back penns rumble oon the rock since he is nolonger with k-1 which was his main backer. i guess time will tell.

BJ Penn needs to fight Matt hughs, I dont think Sanchez is on that level yet. I couldnt beleive tito was back, like you said its gonna be a rough season 3 w/ him and Shamrock. I'm gonna hve to disagree with you on Frank MIr taken out Arvloski, it just aint gonna happen J. Now randy and chuck's fight I can see going either way.

bj wont fight for the belt right away. they are going to make him earn it again. it is just a matter of time but he will get it back. it looked like tito and ken were gonna fight in the octagon last night. mir will own arvloski everyone said tim silva was gonna beat mirs ass but looked what happened mir snapped his arm like a twig. mir is overlooked,arvloski is a damn good fighter but i think mir will own him.

uh he already has. he choked matt out in the first round. i posted up a hilight vid in another thread and it shows him tapping if you want proof. bj is no joke on the ground,matt cant use his ground n pound as effectivly
