to ask you what that block and head set up will run.what's wrong with the set up? i was getting the money to buy that crx with the LS swap, and the guy up and decided that he didn't want to sell it.

MSD Coil-why would you use an msd cap or coil your honda ones will be fine for the amount of power you will be making.
91 CRX Si ECU. Socketed and Chipped-you will still need more than just a chipped ecu to tune the car tomake the most power.
92-95 Fuel Rail with Polished intake mani-why would you use a z6 mani? i believe the y8 is a much better choice i would have to verify. but the z6 is not the best d series mani. once again why waste mmoney if you are not gonna use quality parts to help the increased air flow?

to ask you what that block and head set up will run.what's wrong with the set up? i was getting the money to buy that crx with the LS swap, and the guy up and decided that he didn't want to sell it.so that means you are going to waste your money? when you are putting a setup together you have to make sure that everything complements each other. if it doesnt then it isnt going to make the power that it could. if it isnt going to make the power what is the point of wasting your time and money. unless you can afford to throw money away. if thats the case you can throw some my way lol

Kichou.... I think what J is trying to say about wasting your money is..... lets compare for example.....

If I were to take my Stang the way it sits with all the bolt ons and etc... that I have... I could just throw a Supercharger on it and run good times and #'s (Low 12's) .....

However, the proper way to build a motor is you have to use all the right parts when making the build... For Example.... I plan on changing out the heads & porting & polishing the new ones, Cams, Going to forged internals, headers, New Intake Mani, etc..... All of the parts that I am putting on compliment each other.... such as new heads, intake mani, I will take in more air, and the headers let it out.. they all work together..... After all that work is done, then I supercharge and end up with way better numbers (Low 11's, possibly high 10's... i hope).

All the parts on that motor do not compliment each other.... A RICER built that motor and just threw shit on it before thinking about the setup....

tj check out this mini me swap. it is very detailed and for the amount you plan to spend you can do this and have enough for a hmt kit. you will make alot more than a stock zc,ls,a6,z6,y8,etc.......

ls swap - pyr cam gears , last set he made- valve springs and retainers - cams of sum sort not sure the exact kind . Short ram intake - chiped ecu , b&m short shifter.Full 3" all the way back with a tanabe look a like tip - Brand new trann and clutch less than 500 miles on both -- heater works great - has ac with the hasport bracket just needs a re - charge

Car is flat black and the body is decently straight - its lowered on sum ebay coilovers sittin on enkie rs6 15's with decent tread all around

Full interior pretty nice for a 14 year old car - alpine cd player

well i had a crx with a y8 block and z6 head. haha it was pretty peppy which means it felt fast on the butt dyno but probably ran 15's at the track. it had an act flywheel, 6 puck clutch, and full bolt ons. not enough but to have hell trying to drive with a cable unsprung 6 puck and an enertia robbin 8lbs or so flywheel. that fucking sucked. save, save, save. calm down. quit trying to hurry up and be fast and think about what you are doing. you have your crx already. thats your base. now set a date to have your build complete. keep in mind what you make and how much you can save. now that you know what kind of budget you are working with save. get the money in hand then look. dont look before you have the money cause deals are gonna pass you by and it is gonna piss you off. when i just got my check i wanted to go jump on the first 3000gt i saw and boost the fuck out of it. well i finally chilled and decided to wait a bit. i know you wanna be fast but patience is the key. just chill out and wait. you will be fast. take it from one person who has owned 30 cars and has yet to be quick...lol but i am patient. i will get me a car when i get my d.l. back in dec. and i garuntee it will be a killa

1) it wasn't my idea in the first place to put the flame there, someone else did it while we were putting my glow kit in.
2) the snake eyes on the hood were still more custom than anything you could do
3) painting the hood with the bedliner was necessity not a want.
