Well as said above, i recently blew out my knee (again) and had to get out of SERE. I was only a few weeks from going to Washington and during a run, i tore my ACL again. I messed it up pretty bad my senior year in HS, but it was only a partial tear then. I never had surgery on it because i didnt want any record of the injury. I just iced it after any type of stressfull activity and used electro-shock therapy on it everyday before and after school. after about a month of that, everything was better. but ya now im out of SERE school and got placed into the maintenance squadron at Sheppard AFB in ita Falls TX. So now rather than doing SERE, i will be building turbo-prop engines for the C-130.
I guess it wont be too bad, especially since i will be able to actually use this job in the civilian world (even though i really dont want to spend my life as an airplane mechanic) o well, i guess we will see how it goes.
besides, there arent many people these days that can build an engine with 20,000 ft/lbs or torque.
