after 2 years of circling this car everytime I went to the local salvage yard I finally brought it home. 100$ isnt bad but I know there is one hell of a long road ahead to even get this thing going. I just didnt want to regret not getting it, expecially since the yard is closing down and crushing everything - so I rescued it.
man I am a old japanese car freak

What is it?
My Brother-in-law has an old Toyota (late sixties), that looks similar, sitting in the yard wasting away!

its a 1973 corolla they had the same body style from 69-74
there not worth too much just realy hard to find anywhere except the west coast it seems everyone junks them and they get crushed. I am just a toyota freak, and couldnt stand the thought of it ending up the same way.
I would happily save another one or pick up a parts car, any idea if your brother in law would want to get rid of his?

Your're right, I remember now, it is a Corolla. I believe it is a 1969 model.
I don't know if he will sell it, but I will ask. He kinda collects things, if you know what I mean.

when I was 15 I found a 1970 olive green te27 corolla (same but different trunk) at a salvage yard in victoria, totally complete maybe garage kept. I tried to buy it but my dad wouldnt let me and it eventually got a buick set on top of it that sucked so now I try and save all the old imports I can haha.
