Well with that blower that set up is pretty much maxed out if I was fixing the car I would build it with the potential to make well into the 1200 range like rc's car at lmr, but I guess some folks just don't want to make a name for them selves

If they wanted to make real power they should of put a ysi on there. Maybe your shade tree mechanics can pump out a few more but i dont think much more.

I guess you must not know how we are than because you are way wrong on that. You get a full drivability tune and WOT tune for 1 price. For the same price at every shop in Houston/ Austin etc, you get WOT only.

I'm one of lsx Performance Dyno Tuning's customers and I've never had one single bad thing to say about them. I had a problem with my trans am awhile back and kurt took it in and fixed it for me at no cost. It was not a problem he caused or patrick caused by his tuning. These guys are just like everyone of us. They are down to earth guys that give you the service that they would expect if they were taking their cars in for work. Not sure who you have talked to or heard these bad things from but I don't they know what they are talking about.

Sometimes you have to wonder - depending on who your talking to. There is one kid in Victoria that said they went to another shop to get tuned and picked up 10rwhp over our tune. In all actuallity we have never even touched this kids car, he was just making crap up.

The bottom line here is that there is always room for improvement with an AFR of 9 on N20 motor. Id push 12 if that motor was built correctly?????? If he is at the 9 or so think about how much power he left on the table only to err on the side of caution which could still damage the engine.:wtf:

I've talked to John several times - or he told me several times about what leathal did to his car, and has been wanting me to fix it.

Yes they might do good work - just be careful with them though. We have fixed several of theirs and other shops jacked up tunes.

I cant disclose any names cause like I have been saying I talked to those guys a couple of years ago when we were meeting at hastings and kurt was just known as the guy with the dyno, and I dont remember there names and haven't seen them since. Not every customer is 100% satisfied 100% of the time, and just because they dont hear about it dosent mean it dident happen.

so have yall fixed jhons yet? The peolpe i know have never had a problem with leathal or there tuning including me. to each his own

Finally got Johns car over here, lets just say it wasn't the worst tune out there but it was pretty jacked up.

The Car starts and idles now, don't have to hold the trhottle to make it idle.

Over the baseline tune from leathal perforamnce we picked up another 20rwhp and 23 tq at peak (And this is with the nitrous tune in the car). Over the entire pull it average 15rwhp/19tq gain.

Still a couple things to work on, and John has a couple items he need to address but it is coming along.

That depends.. In the pure sense, as in, the people that are out playing in the real world, maybe. But this is Victoria we are talking about here. Not a whole lot of 500+ cars that come out (except for on the forum).

ok first of all the bs flag, was directed at 360rwhp TA on a mustang dyno with( headers and lid). dont tell me about part combos i know how to package a car for it to run strong at the track, with that sed in reply to the c5 stock form, anybody who knows a little about c5 ls1 know that they make on a average anywhere from 310 to 320 to the wheels bone stock, on like a higher reading dynojet. So maybe when yall learn how to calibrate your dyno so it doesnt give out bullshit numbers,then maybe yall will back these horsepower gains up by running at the track and im not talking bout that road race shit, and acutally post up some et numbers that make sense with the dyno numbers!!!

Not to many victoria cars hit my dyno. Most are from Houston and they do run at RPR all the time. Plus if you knew anything about how I have my dyno set up you would know that you could dyno on a dynojet anywhere in Houston or Austin and I will be with in a couple HP of that number. why are you stuck on 1/4 mile.

You know there are several other racing events out there. Take your car to the mile and see how disapointed you are when it runs slow, do you think you could drive fast in a corner?

Alot of cars are purpose built - you can't make a road race car hook at a drag strip and you can't make a drag car turn a corner. so trying to get someone to take their car to just one race setting is stupid. People spend money to build a car to do what they want not to satisfy the ones that can only relate to drag racing.

Well my ta actually ran a 12.9 on street tires and that was my very first 1/4 in my life. Definitely had a 12.5 in it with slicks and skinnies and a mor experienced driver. Now onto the G8. It made 506 rwhp and ran an 11.4 at the track. That's actually a little better than that car should have run. I know Kurt, Patrick, and Robert well and they are not the type of guys that would do anything that could hurt their business. I've yet to see a number on their dyno that hasn't been proven at the track.

The first night I saw your car run, it was barely breaking 100 mph and was stuck in the high 13s. That doesn't qualify as a factory freak to me. Especially considering it already had headers and a lid. Did your dad let you drive your car that night at the track? I recall he was having trouble running with a catbacked LT1 TA, who, coincidentaly it was also his first time at the track.

was this 1/4mile pass made on the good ol trusty never give a false reading mustang dyno 1/4mile simulator? hey do yall have a road race simulator on that mustang dyno?

With Eric's old transam a standard it all comes down to driver. so mph and et are going to vary. We had a lot of people call bs on James Day cam only 2002 camaro that put down 430rwhp through a 4l60e until he went out and runs 11.2, his other car we have running 9.8 on the small motor, the big motor should put him in the 8's.

We had bone stock automatic camsos run 12.2. we still have he fastest na stock ci Jeep cheorkee SRT8 in the country also.

Still trying to figure out the corners on the road racing simulator.

Dam!!! What mods does that C5 have done??? King cab??? The FRCs start off at 31-3200 lbs so yall added 2300 pounds to this car??? Yall drop 4 454 lsx's in it? Should do way over 211 in that case.

we never raced - I don't street race, only at the track. Never saw ronnie at the track to line up. And I'm sure ya'll will say you never saw me at SAR, because I didn't race at SAR. I went to Seally, but it's been awhile since I've been to the track, I haven't worked on the car since 06, been busy building everyones elses projects. when I finish it I will be at RPR more often becasue that is where most of my friends run since they're all in houston.

I honestly love to drag race and will still go out to the track with the G8 every once in awhile. Drag racing is the only thing I've ever done beside street racing, which I most likely won't be taking part in either. I'm planning on trying out the road racing course because I think it would be something I could enjoy even more than drag racing. Oh an if I call someone out then I'll stick to it. Davitt and I should still be a pretty close race.

Now "that was easy" I'm asking what you drive out of curiosity. Part of being on a forum is learning new things and reading about other peoples projects, rides, and problems. Go to ls1tech or grrrr8 and you'll see people actually care to read about what everyone is doing to their cars, not because they want to try and race them and take their money, but because we are all gear heads that like to hear about somebody doing out of the ordinary to their cars.
