Just a little peek of what were working on. Some may recall the white Camaro SS we were building up as a road racing candidate some time ago. Heres the heads being cut to bump compression up a little on the stock LS1. They are 317 cast and cut to 66 CC. The valve cover face was also cut .0003 to get a good bed fit on the mill. Pay no attention to the 5.0 stang in the background its scared to death:lmao: Also using the 317s so I can throw the junk 853s in the trash. They use the damn Grafoil type gskt that is already leaking into the radiator.

OK, got the the valves ground and lapped today. Looks good so far, just trying to squeeze this crap in amungst all other things. Now trying to get the big guy to stop convincing me to do a complete cam mod. We all no how that will go and I just dont think its worthy of it at this point. Just spray and pray:lmao:

Well the C5 wheels are back from Powder Coating. I even had the aluminum covers powdercoated as well. Funny this is after removing the covers from the plastic center caps they had a Pontiac emblem made on them :lmao: Looks like GM pulled a fast one on the 2000 C5s by using Pontiac plastic caps and covering them with the C5 aluminum crossed flags.:lmao: Ill post pics as soon as I can, I remember a story years ago that GM would do weird things in every C4 they manufactured. My 92 had dove grey interior with a red drverside seat belt buckle,, it was in a grey sleeve. My 95 came with roadster louvers on the side mirrors from GM and it was a coupe. They did that to one car only. I found out it was the start of the first 95 yr model run. I thought it was pretty cool piece of info. I had to contact GM back in the day for the resto pkg to find that out. :wtg:

I think he burnned it down and built it up too far. God only knows WTFing hood is going to look like. I guess Im goin g to have to do the work myself. I was just try ing to speed things along a little and throw him a bone as well. Looks like he might have boned me!!!!!!!!!!

The fact that I dont do 1320, but figured i would try it out while proof testing the rest of the car. The car is a V6/auto to LS1/6spd SS conversion. Im gonna take the LS1 to the limit and see how many pieces I can make out of it:wtg:
