just thought I'd let you guys in on whats going on,

tuned a friend 1g Talon awd last weekend, stock internals good compresion motor well maintianed, has 2g mas, ported 2g exh manifold, ported exhaust side 14b, AVCR, AFC II, o2 elim. DP, 3in muffler shop exhaust and, 550cc's walbro pump. runs steady 12.0/12.5 afr mid range 11:1 under heavy load, and advanced it what we could get away with. tuning came out pretty good and we did it on a 90 something degree day.

Killed a evo 8 w/ exaust and MBC it was beautiful! road was a little wet and spun 3-4 tires on 2nd gear shift! pulled a car on him, on second run the evo guy turned boost up to 19psi and blew somthing up haha it was some dumb ass ritch kid. our friends talon was the fastest car out that night.
Also beat a GTI Golf that was ok fast still had the VNT and looked realy clean he quit after the talon shot out on him he didn't even bother. accelerating to 3rd.

Jareds' D16 EF of death and turbo lag: driver side motor mount ripped bolt out of block and chunk came with it so............ depending on damage its due for some down time I'll try and get pics of the block its crazy! we have no idea what his car will run in the 1/4 yet but not too fast considering the lack of slicks and no LSD, rite now probably has around 360 hp or so on pump gas. On the bright side this has modivated him to fixing his 300zx.

My DSM broke, My MR2 broke, my cressida getting supra swap and sourcing parts has been a bitch, my corolla FINALLY carbed and not slowany more with curb weight around 2100 lbs and maybe 160-170hp it moves decent finally, I am still shifting at 8k but with some better valve trian I will be safe to about 9500 (my bottom end is balanced) hope I have it done soon. maybe I could line up some runs with some stock b16 powered civics? haha
no way I'd try and run jason!

well later and take care guys,
Robert

yeah uh huh everyone knows jasons car is not "fast", haha
you need to put those CBR ITB's on I came up with a sulution for vacume (brake booster, PCV) when I put my carbs on.

If Honda B series has the fuel injectors on the head, all you need to do is:

get some AN barbed fittings, (threaded on one side) roughly the size of the injector ports (actually a hair bigger) find a tap. thread the injector ports them put a little JB weld on the fitting and screw them in. now make a vacume manifold out of a few T's and hose there you go, simple cost effective solution to a big problem.

Total cost 2 hours and around 50 bucks.

hope this helps Jason, Good luck on it !

nah i hhad it running withh the itbs idled great annd all. just a little rich. the problem was thhat i had no brakes. i even cleared all the cels. n not bad for mmy 1stt time fucking wwith them and nno i mean NO experience. i didnt hhave a wy to lean out the car at the time all i had was a chipped ecu. i still think about putting them on but i really dont have the spare cash to tune them properly.

thats what I mean the problem of no brakes, thats how I fixed it since my carbs/manifold has no vacume either.
